MakeMake

Senior Designer / UI  / UX

MakeMake is a streaming platform of interactive books for children and young adults. Their main target are teachers, librarians and students.

Some of the top funcitonalities are the statistics and book finding system for ensuring key metrics and usage in order to continue the subscriptions.

I've worked with them as the Lead Designer in-house and as a freelance consultant for several years, and we've collaborated on several iterations of the platform. This is the latest project to refresh their platform and address urgent functionality requirements for subscribers at different tiers.

Three types of users: school principals or institutional administrators, teachers in charge of different school courses, and students. This dashboard should allow them to navigate and view subscriber statistics, organize and enable content, and access the readings or books assigned by the teacher, depending on the type of user.

Gamify reading for students

A series of challenges and badges were created to motivate students to read

Session and reading statistics.

Statistics visible to higher-level users, with the ability to view a quick summary as well as detailed information.
